What is the classification of functional fabrics?

1. Moisture wicking fabric

Several special-shaped fibers such as cross-shaped, Y-shaped, T-shaped and honeycomb-shaped are mainly spun by physical methods. The surface has different numbers of microgrooves. With the help of the grooved moisture-wicking structure, the moisture in the body can be expelled instantly. , widely used in sportswear, outdoor travel, casual wear, underwear, shirts and other fields.

2. Antibacterial fabric

The traditional simple process of adding antibacterial agents to fabrics is changed, and the antibacterial silver ion material is melted into the spinning melt, and then processed into a new type of silver ion fiber with antibacterial, bactericidal and antibacterial functions. The rate is 99%, and it is widely used in bedding, household, clothing, underwear and other fields.

3. Flame retardant fabric

The flame retardant is polymerized, blended, copolymerized and compounded to make the fiber have permanent flame retardant properties, mainly including: aramid fiber, flame retardant acrylic fiber, flame retardant viscose, flame retardant polyester, smoldering vinylon, etc. Widely used in military industry, fire protection, petroleum, electric power, natural gas, chemical industry, aviation, shipbuilding and other industries, and at the same time making general clothing, especially children's clothing, pajamas, carpets, bedding, etc.

4. Cotton brocade fabric

Various fabrics woven from cotton fibers and nylon blended yarns are widely used in military uniforms and tooling due to the excellent wear resistance and elastic recovery of nylon fibers.

5. Antistatic fabric

Fabrics woven with yarns mixed with conductive fibers or embedded conductive filaments. The main antistatic raw materials currently used are: organic conductive filaments, short fibers and stainless steel fibers. According to the different uses of clothing, different raw materials and proportions are selected.

6. Composite functional fabrics

Through special raw material ratio and process, two or more new functions are compounded on the same fabric to meet various requirements of tooling in coal mining, petroleum, chemical, military, fire protection and other industries. It also has properties such as antibacterial and flame retardant.
