A major benefit of using carbon fiber material is that it is much lighter than steel components. Using carbon fiber can cut the weight of most cars by about half. In turn, they will require less fuel to run and reduce your carbon footprint.

This lighter weight also affects shipping costs. Lighter materials cost less to transport and require less fuel to transport.
